A Blue Coyote in New York City?

Yup - that's right - Cheyenne the Blue Coyote is in NYC - ok - maybe she isn't exactly but a synopsis of her "book idea" is making the rounds at the BIG Book Expo as I type. Corinne aka Coco, a friend of mine who has published her own book (http://thetaoofrudy.com/) is there talking to publishers/distributors and was kind enough to bring my character/book idea along - so keep your paws crossed and wish her/us luck!!!!

Cheyenne the Blue Coyote has a "Magic Paw"!

Cheyenne the Blue Coyote is complete - for now anyway! She is all set with her new "magic paw" that was inspired by my boyfriend's very sweet Golden Retriever puppy named Macy - she has a very cute speckled front paw and I think it makes her even cuter and now Cheyenne has one as well - cute don't ya think?

Once again - these fabulous illustrations are by April Hendrix - she has been a joy to work with and I think we will make a great team for this project. I look forward to working with her as things progress. Enjoy the "New" Cheyenne! Oh - it's full moon tonight - get out and enjoy it - I know our little Blue Coyote will be out there howling away!

Cheyenne The Blue Coyote Twitters, Facebooks and MySpaces

Who knew a Blue Coyote could be such a techie? As you know, to market anything in todays world you have to utilize the web to it's fullest extent and that is what we aim to do. We are on Twitter, Facebook and MySpace just to name a few - it is a work in progress and there are more places - besides our website (which needs updating) - that our little Blue Coyote will appear - I am not totally clear how some of these "sites" work - like Twitter - don't really get it but every one's doing it! So if you can't beat them join them, right?

My poor brain is on overload and I know that there is a lot of work to do to get my spunky little character introduced to the world properly. At some point, she will be EVERYWHERE - even plastered on my car.....I was always told that if you don't toot your own horn, no one else will...just call me the shameless promoter!!!! Cheyenne The Blue Coyote has a new illustrator - her name is April Hendrix and I am VERY excited to get to work with her. She has drawn the cutest Cheyenne - I think you will agree she is very talented and will do our spunky little blue coyote justice!
